Registered Nurse/LVN required to run large transgender program within busy urology practice.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Candidate must demonstrate strong knowledge of transgender issues and related medical practice requirements including hormone therapy and sexual reassignment surgery (SRS). Candidate will also be responsible for overseeing clinical aspects of the urology practice, including the training and supervision of medical assistants. Busy medical practice experience is essential. Experience with urology practice is preferred.

Candidate must demonstrate skills in office procedures including, but not limited to, cystoscopies, vasectomies, prostate biopsies, gential wart fulguration, circumcisions, and STS treatment. Candidate must demonstrate strong command of surgical sterial technique and autoclaving. Due to the nature of this position and the existing transgendered patient population, selected applicant must train with incumbent for a mimimum of 120 days before final hiring decision is made.
