[BRONX, NY] - Moments after being found mentally fit to stand trial, a Bronx man pleaded guilty yesterday to stabbing a transsexual to death outside of the Port Authority.

Dwayne McCuller, 22, admitted to Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Rena Uviller that he stabbed Amanda Dyer in the neck after a June 20, 2000, argument at the corner of 42nd Street and Eighth Avenue.

In return for the guilty plea, McCuller was promised a sentence of 17.5 years in prison, plus five years supervised release.
