City Council Weighs Impact of Decision

[SOUIX CITY, IA] - Ferris and Councilmen Craig Berenstein, Marty Dougherty and Jason Geary rejected adding sexual orientation to the law, which already bans discrimination in employment, housing and public accommodations on the basis of race, creed, color, sex, national origin, religion, ancestry or disability. Councilwoman Karen Forneris cast the lone vote in support of the measure.
