TGinKY (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TGinKY) is a discussion list for people in Kentucky who transcend gender norms and wish to talk with other like-minded people or discuss issues they face. The list is open to anyone living in Kentucky who dresses, acts, or thinks differently from the gender in which they were raised. SOFFA (Significant Others, Friends, Family, and Allies) of gender "euphoric" persons are also encouraged to participate.

The goals for this list are:
1) to give transgendered people in KY a way to network with each other,
2) to give SOFFA of TG people in KY a way to network with each other,
3) to educate interested parties about the variety of experiences that transgendered people have.

Although frank discussions are encouraged, this list will not contain explicit adult content. Abusers will be removed from the TGinKY list.

In order to keep the list on-topic and to avoid frivolous subscribers, there is a *very short* questionnaire (name on list and reason for joining) that you are asked to fill out and return by email when you request subscription.
