The purpose of Bloomington TG Group is to provide a positive and supportive environment for all of our brothers and sisters in the Transgender community. This is an opportunity to meet others in the community, to provide a place to go for those who are not "out", and an opportunity for those who are "out" to share their experiences. It is our hope that this will be both fun and educational.

We don't have a fixed concept of how the meetings will develop - we will let the burgeoning group govern it's own destiny, with the following general guidelines:

1. The group will be open to all members of the transgendered community (MTF, FTM, intersex, TS, TV, CD, etc...). Significant others, supportive family and supportive friends are welcome to accompany a TG person.

2. This is not a dating service -- those who are strictly "admirers" looking to pick up a date are NOT welcome.

Initial meetings will be conducted at a group members residence. There will be facilities to "change & makeup" there.
