Bluegrass Belles is an open support and social group for the transgendered community of Kentucky and Southern Indiana, including but not limited to Louisville and Lexington. We meet on the third Saturday of each month, have circles that meet at other times to deal with specific issues of transgenderism.

Our meetings and activities are open to all who have an issue with gender. We have members who are crossdressers, transvestites, transsexuals, spouses, friends, and family members of transgendered people, and people who offer services for transgendered people. We're proud to be an open group, are definitely welcoming regardless of whether you are MtF or FtM; gay, straight, or bi, married or single; and members and attendees are asked to always respect the lifestyles and confidentiality of other members. Members are always encouraged to bring their spouses or significant others to our meetings, as we also offer support to them and appreciate their contributions.

Our meetings are not opportunities for sexual advances, disorderly behavior, or substance abuse.

There are 3 goals that guide us as a group: one, to be an information resource for transgendered people in Kentucky and Southern Indiana; two, to provide support and advice to all who are transgendered; and three, to be a social group - we never forget.
