Study Being Conducted on Hate Crimes against Transgendered People
Student Looking for Individuals in the Boston Area to Participate
7/31/2004
Would you be willing to be interviewed about your experiences?
I am an undergraduate student at Wellesley College conducting a senior thesis on hate crimes experienced by trans/genderqueer people in the Boston area. By talking to as many people as possible about their experiences, I hope this thesis can document and raise awareness about violence targeted at the trans and genderqueer community.
I am looking for people of any and all age groups, races, ethnicities, sexual orientation, stage of transition, gender identity, and class.
If you are interested in participating there are some important things to know:
1. Your interview or interviews will be completely ANNONYMOUS.
2. Your privacy and comfort level will be respected at ALL TIMES.
I will be conducting interviews until December, 2004. My name is Clare McBee-Wise; contact me at the following email address: [email protected] if you are interested, or if you have any questions at all!
This thesis is not being funded by a grant, so unfortunately I cannot offer payment for your participation.
